Out with the old and in with the new - Simple boudoir photography price listIf you hate something, change it. I have always been told never to say hate. It is such a strong and extremely negative word. Maybe I should use words or phrases such as dislike, not fond of, or no longer enjoy LOL. Those sound really nice. One thing is for sure, I hated a lot about this website. I have asked many people over the years to give me their feedback about it. Some have made suggestions and I made improvements based what they thought would make it better. But there was always something that never seemed right with me. This website is about empowering women and making them look beautiful, yet it felt cold and uninviting, almost like a doctors office. Who likes that? So I changed it. I got rid of the cold black background. Say hello to the new bright, clean and simple, white background. Hated it. Changed it. Easy enough. Simple is a good thing, right? K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid. Apparently, I was stupid because I was confusing you all for the longest time. I did not stop at changing the background, I updated my pricing page to make it easier to understand. Gone is the confusing pricing list or investment list or whatever photographers like to call it. There are no more packages with limited outfit changes or set changes, if purchase this you get a discount of off that, or any other trick photographers will use to make more money from you. I hated my previous price list. There were too many options on it and instead of making sense, it just confused people. Below is not really a photo of my previous price list, just so you know. Too many options drive me crazy!!! I have gone to the grocery store many of times with the intention of going in quickly to grab something to eat, only to spend 45 minutes wandering aimlessly around the store because there is just too much to choose from. I can never decide. I get confused and frustrated and eventually leave the store hungry and empty handed. Please tell me I am not the only person that has experienced this? I hate being confused, so now our pricing is simple and easy to understand. No more packages! Now, there are only TWO photo shoot options available. Thats all. You will also notice that there is only one product available for purchase, Professionally Edited Digital Images, THAT YOU CAN PRINT YOURSELF. We are not up-selling you by creating a photo album, selling you prints, wall mounted canvas prints, or any or the things that you can do by yourself and save hundreds of dollars while doing it. You may ask, “why be so different when every other photographer sells these exclusive products?” The answer is simple. Our job is to take amazing photographs that you will fall in love with and want to purchase, not to sell you “product”. We create life long memories, not sell you an 8x10. Back in the day, photographers had access to printing companies that the general public did not. These printing companies could create huge prints, lay flat photo albums, framed portraits, canvas prints, etc. However, the internet changed all of that. Now the printing companies make their products available to everyone, not just photographers. It is as easy as doing a Google search under “photo books”. We wanted to simplify the buying process so you could spend your quality time doing the things you enjoy, not by wasting it trying to decipher a confusing price list, or even worse, having to contact the photographer and request one by email. Your time is valued. The last thing I hated was the welcome message on the home page. Yikes, I can not believe that at one point in time I thought that boring and generic message was acceptable. It was like meeting someone for the first time to shake their hand, only to do that smooth move when you pull your hand back really fast right when the other person reaches out to shake your hand. It was horrific, absolutely horrific.
Well, that welcome message on the black background is no more. Now the message on our home screen is much more inviting and empowering, clean and clear. Hope you enjoy the changes.

Showing off that sexy new figure while pregnantIt has been years since Demi Moore appeared naked on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine. I am sure that half of you reading this have no idea what I am talking about (Google it) and the rest of you can clearly remember. I absolutely loved that photo and it is still a favorite of mine to this day. Although it is really no longer shocking, since most pregnant women don't mind being nude to show off their amazing curves that they have gained while being pregnant, it is still an amazing photo! I was recently contacted by Stefanie to do a maternity photo shoot together with her husband Will. This is a special moment in both of their lives as they are expecting their first child. They wanted to capture the beauty of Stefanie's pregnancy with some photographs that they will always remember and cherish. Although these photographs are more conservative than the Demi Moore photo, we created some beautiful images that everyone loved. It is said that pregnant women glow. This is absolutely true. Stefanie shined in every photo we took. She looked amazing! Her husband, Will, would also gave me a smile in every shot that could last for days. I was honored to photograph this excited and beautiful couples maternity photos.

If you’re doing a boudoir shoot for an engagement or as a wedding gift, consider wearing a bridal veil combined with a sports jersey from your guys favorite team. If you like time periods, why not go Victorian with Steampunk styles or even take the bridal veil and use a vintage style from the 40’s or change the color to black. If you like to joke about being a princess, a tiara or sexy Cinderella could add a little whimsy to your photos. Add something unique that shows off who you are in your shoot. What makes you the person your partner loves? Think about that and then tie it in with your outfit or accessories. Choose Lingerie. Twice As Nice Glamour and Boudoir Photo ShootI have been lucky enough to photograph the tall and beautiful Nicole twice in the past few months. She needed some classy and sexy photographs of herself to post on her website. Nicole is tall, I'm guessing 6'2" and has lovely longs and a charming smile. When she first contacted me Nicole mentioned she needed new photos for her website and that she went to two boudoir photographers she found on Groupon, but was not satisfied with their results. Luckily, she came to Las Vegas Glamour Boudoir and we delivered what she wanted. Photographing Nicole was a joy. She was extremely easy to pose and followed direction well. After the photo shoot I loaded the images on the computer for Nicole to view and select the ones she would like to purchase. Usually the viewing and selecting process takes about 15 minutes, but these took about 60. LOL. Nicole loved all of the images so much it was hard for her to narrow down the selection. Here is a Q & A that Nicole wanted to share about her experience. Q: What inspired you to do a boudoir photo shoot? A: I needed some amazing and new photos for my website. Q: Why did you choose Las Vegas Glamour Boudoir? A: I had tried 2 other photographers who couldn't quite capture and accentuate my best features like I saw that Bryan did when I found him. Q: Are you giving the photos to someone as a gift, or are they something special that you want to keep for yourself? A: As mentioned above the photos are for my website but it is very important what they portray because captivating and unique photos are absolutely essential in my business. Q: Were you feeling excited or nervous leading up to the shoot, or in front of the camera? A: From my first shoot with Bryan he put me at ease and made me feel like a star! Q: How did you prepare for your boudoir photo shoot? Did you practice poses in front of the mirror? A: just visualize the theme I want for the shoot, get my outfits together and Bryan helps me make the vision a reality with his creativity, talent and awesome skill set. I have a bad tendency to practice in the mirror WHILE I’m shooting!! Q: Did you enjoy viewing and selecting your favorite photos immediately after your shoot? A: It’s actually difficult to pick only a certain amount of the photos he shoots, I want to take them ALL!! I have so much fun looking through them too! Q: Would you recommend a boudoir shoot to someone who never had one before? A: ABSOLUTELY!! It is like no other experience you have had as a woman! Q: Do you have any advice or suggestions for anyone considering a boudoir photo shoot? A: Just trust Bryan, let loose, and don’t worry about your flaws, he’ll take care of them ALL!! Be the sexy, uninhibited, pinup girl you’ve always wanted to be! Nicole was also awesome enough to leave me a 5 star review on Yelp.
Thanks A lot! For myself the answer to that question is extremely easy. NEVER.Oh wait, I remember a really cool photograph of me. I may have been two or three years old. I had amazing blonde hair and was rocking a killer looking pimp suit. It was the 70's, what do you expect? But seriously, I really do not have any good looking pictures of myself. There are a few portraits that I have when i was in grade school, but they all suck. If you know anything about school photos they are a joke. The photographer that goes to the school to snap the pictures rarely knows anything about photography. Their job is to get every the kid in the school in front of their camera as quick as possible. What exactly does does that mean to you? A fast, one shot, shitty looking, hope you didn't blink, take it or leave it photograph of your child. Parents purchase the overpriced picture package because that is a current "professional looking" photograph of their child. Besides, who really has 30-60 minutes of time to invest and get a great looking photograph that you will want to hang on your wall and appreciate every time you walk past it? Unfortunately, most people do not. Smart phones are great. You can text, surf the internet, post on Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, play games, use 1000's of apps and take pictures. Oh, I forgot, you can actually use it as a phone and call people. Because of smart phones everyone has a camera on them 24/7. And because of that smartphone most people are now "photographers". I posted a portrait on my Facebook page with the tag, "Celebrate your SELF, not your selfie". A friend of mine replied, "But I like selfies". Selfies are like fast food. They are quick, low quality, and available in seconds. The negative side is that selfies are terrible looking photographs and easily forgettable. When was the last time you were so excited about eating at McDonalds that you took a photo of your food, posted it on social media and bragged to all of your friends that you are enjoying the best tasting hamburger you ever ate and wanted to share your experience with them? Probably never? When my father passed away five years ago I searched and searched for a great looking photograph of him. The majority of the pictures were old Polaroids of him where he was holding in his hands a cigarette, a beer, or sometimes both. The only respectable photograph that I could find for his obituary was a tiny, low resolution picture that I was not proud to use. Unfortunately, it was the best I had.
