A glamour fashion photo shoot in the desert
Well, actually it was across the street from my studio.
Every time I drive there I would notice the large power line poles. I love how they look massive close up, but appear to converge far down the road. I always wanted to do a photo shoot there, but finding the right day was challenging.
I wanted to have clouds in my shot, but a day with beautiful clouds in Las Vegas are few and far between. Luckily, on this day the weather was perfect. The clouds, sunlight, and temperature were amazing. This had to be done today!
I purchased the coat about a month prior to the photo shoot. Once I saw it at the store, I immediately knew where it would be photographed. The coat was an amazing find. The light gray fur against the darker gray wool was exactly what I wanted.
Jessica initially scheduled a boudoir photo shoot. While we were shooting I mentioned about taking pictures in the desert area across the street and asked if she would model a coat that I purchased. She liked the idea and agreed.
After a bit of walking we found a nice area to do the photos. Jessica looked great in the coat and modeled it like a pro.
I noticed an interesting location while driving to the studio that same day. It consisted of a small mountain of boulders. I thought it would make for a cool shot. I suggested the new location and Jessica was all for it.
The pile of boulders are about ten feet high. Jessica showed no fear and easily climbed it in her high heels. Once on top, she relaxed and made some great photos.
