Expired color film purchased from the dollar store, shot in a Diana Mini 35mm camera
Yesterday I dropped off a roll of film at CVS to be processed. The film has been expired for over two years, but was recently purchased at a dollar store in Las Vegas. I just picked up the negatives and scanned them into my computer. Here are the results.
I shot these photos using a Diana Mini 35mm camera. If you are not familiar with that kind of camera, it is basically a small, all manual, plastic camera. I took these photos in Downtown Las Vegas a few days ago. The images came out somewhat as I expected.
The reds look decent, however, the blues in all of the photos were very muted. I was also hoping to see more grain in the film but no such luck. Guess I need to leave a few rolls of this film in my garage during the summer and let the heat degrade it some more.
