Unfortunately I did not have the luxury and discreetness of a smartphone. Growing up I wanted the same thing that you are seeking, some sexy photos of a girlfriend or wife and a sensual video of us together. Here is how it went for me many, many years ago. This is well before I learned photography.

For my photos I had to use a film camera. What is that you may ask? Google it. For those that do know, I would shoot a roll of what I thought were sexy photos only to find out a week later when I received my prints back that the majority of the photos looked horrible because the lighting was bad, weird stuff in the background, and she was in a crazy pose and looked confused.

For my videos I had to use a hi8 camcorder. Again, Google it. All I remember from my sexy home video was that one of us forgot to lock the bedroom door and it being an extremely awkward time having your kid walk in on you in the act asking whats going on and why that video camera was there, while we are scrambling for covers and clothes. 
Needless to say, that was my first and last time making my own sexy home video.

Do yourself a favor. Learn from my mistakes.

First, just because your phone takes photos and video, that does not make you a photographer or videographer. Understanding lighting, posing, years of school, practice, working, and having professional gear does.

Second, If you attempt to do this on your own and your first time is a complete disaster like mine, do not expect for there to be a second opportunity . 
It will not happen. EVER!

Last, leave it to the professionals. We have the experience and skills to make your first time fun, memorable, and exciting. After that you can try it at home for your second time and hopefully more!

It may feel awkward having someone else in the room while your are making your intimate video and that is understandable.
