Guns and Glamour - A sexy and dangerous glamour boudnoir photography photo shoot
I was reviewing some photos recently and came across a few from one of my favorite photo shoots. The theme was a sexy glamour look, but with guns. I always wanted to do a photo shoot with guns, but I had to wait for someone that wouldn't freak out. You can't pull out a gun in the middle of a shoot and say, "Oh, by the way, would you mind posing with this?"
Bree contacted me and wanted to do some photos of her smoking. During our conversation I asked her if she would be interested in posing with some guns and modeling an Asian styled bebe dress that I purchased specifically for this shoot. She loved the idea and looked forward to our photo shoot.
Shortly after Bree arrived she tried on the dress. I was amazed how perfectly it fit her. While we were discussing the details for the shoot, I showed Bree some images from my favorite photographer, Helmut Newton, as inspiration. Newton's photography style is erotic and usually have a S&M or fetishistic tone to it. After looking at the photos Bree got into character and took on the personality of a crazy, jealous, stalker girlfriend who couldn't decide if she should romanticize the gun, or turn it on herself.
I love the contrast between the two subjects. In one you have a beautiful, soft and gentle female who would never harm anyone, and in the other you have a ruff and rugged gun, whose only purpose is to kill and destroy.
I assure you that no one was harmed during the photo shoot. Thanks again Bree for being so fun to work with.
